Tony Ellis - Children’s Pastor
Tony spent most of his life living in the state of Tennessee. He and his family just recently became residents of the state of Kentucky. He trusted Jesus as his Savior at the age of nine during a week of VBS.
He received his undergrad degree in Marketing from Tennessee Tech University. Later, Tony received his Master in Ministries with an emphasis on children, youth, and families from Wesleyan Seminary, an affiliate of Indiana Wesleyan University. Tony served in his past church in Tennessee for 22 years. During those years, Tony filled the roles of children’s pastor, worship leader, senior adult minister, family minister, and activities director. His one role that did not change during the past 22 years was the role of children’s pastor. He and his wife Angela felt the call of the Holy Spirit to leave their church family they served for so long to travel to their new home at Zion Baptist, taking their love for children’s ministry and sharing it with their new family.
Tony and Angela have been married 32 years. They have five children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons.
